Product Attributes
Add custom options and notes to your products, allowing customers to specify preferences, sizes, colors, and special requests.

Notes
- Keep note labels clear and specific

- Make note labels customer-friendly
Attribute Categories
- Use categories for options that customers need to choose from
- Keep category names simple and clear
- Use consistent naming across similar products
- Order values logically (smallest to largest, shortest to longest, etc.)
Value Organization
- Group related values together in categories
- Use clear, descriptive value names
- Avoid creating too many values per category (5-8 is usually manageable)
- Consider the customer experience when organizing values
When to Use Notes vs. Categories
-
Use Notes for:
- Free-form text input
- Special requests
- Additional information
- Instructions
-
Use Categories for:
- Predefined options
- Choices that affect pricing or availability
- Options that need to be tracked or reported
- Standard variations (sizes, colors, etc.)
Tips
- Plan Your Attributes: Think about what options customers need before creating categories
- Keep It Simple: Don't overcomplicate with too many categories or values
- Be Consistent: Use the same category names across similar products
- Test the Experience: Consider how attributes appear to customers when booking
- Regular Review: Periodically review and update attributes to keep them relevant
